When I purchased the turbo I could not find any flanges for it. I made some in Solidworks (links below) without holes for pipes cut in them. The reason being that I might want better pipes in the future. For this build I just used step-drills to cut holes where I wanted them when I got the flanges in. It was easier for me to just hack up an existing racing pipe for a clone motor. I just fit and timed the pipes then took them to a muffler shop to get them welded. I was afraid to do the welding myself because the flange was much thicker than the pipe and I feared melting through the pipe.
It was actually easier to take the measurements for the flange from the turbo inlet/outlet covers than it was from the actual turbo! These flanges were laser cut by a company in Mooresville NC called Laser Dynamics. They do great work and I think it was about 30 bucks a flange including material. (pretty good of one-up stuff)
These flanges do not have the gas ports (In/Out) drilled in them yet. (The Drawing links below) I used ALEX technology to create the flanges. That's where you measure every easy to get or square dimension and put it into cad, then have the part made and trace the more complex geometry directly onto the part with masking tape and a Sharpie! I used the actually plastic shipping protector as a template for the exhaust pipe location.

Here are a few pics of the components after welding. Design considerations should include the straightest path and shortest distance for the exhaust to enter/exit the turbo, and the straightest path for the compressed air to enter the after/inner-cooler. Another design consideration is that the wide-band O2 sensor needs to be after the turbo, but just far enough in that it does not suck in ambient air at low RPMs.
I got an Innovate Motorsports O2 sensor and this thing is SMART! Here it is with the turbo and sensor installed (still need to add a support bracket).. I still need to plumb oil lines to the turbo. I believe (at this point) it needs around 20PSI.
